Firstly ... a huge THANK YOU!
If you’re here reading this, you’re considering how to help THE HOPEFUL make an incredible impact when it releases in cinemas from October 17. Honestly ... we can’t do this without YOU!
Going public quite simply is where we all come together to share about the film releasing in cinemas. It's incredible to consider that THE HOPEFUL will have a public/mainstream release in cinemas nationally. This isn’t something we take for granted ... and yet at the same time, releasing movies in cinemas is INCREDIBLY RISKY!
The key to any successful movie release in cinemas is all about opening weekend. If people turn out and buy tickets in the first four days of the film’s release, it can set the film up to remain in cinemas and play for some time. Sadly ... the opposite can happen. A poor opening weekend will see the film removed very quickly from cinemas.
We’re assuming that you and your community have attended the October 8 premiere events and are now wanting to help with the public release of the film.
How you can help
There are three critical and impacting things that you can help us with:
Remind everyone in your community about the film's release. Keep showing the trailer, sharing on socials and chatting about the public release. And encourage your members to do the same across their networks.
Encourage your community to consider inviting family, friends and work colleagues to see the movie with them on opening weekend. In the lead up to this moment we are hoping that everyone has caught the vision around the potential here for simple and genuine personal evangelism connected to something we all love ... going to the movie. And maybe go one step further and encourage your community to take a generous step and even consider buying tickets for their friends.
There are some amazing movie resources available to help in the ‘GO PUBLIC’ stage. We encourage you to visit the MINISTRY RESOURCES section of this website.
